Get a Free Vending Machine for Your DFW Business

No lease payment. No hardware bill. No stocking to manage. If your site qualifies, Flyby installs and runs the whole thing at no cost to you.

Free vending machine placement for a qualified DFW business
Direct answer

Yes, placement can be entirely free for your business, and here is exactly why that is possible. Flyby buys the machine, pays for installation, stocks it, services it, and processes payments. We never bill the business for any of that. Instead, the people using the machine pay per item at checkout, the same way they would at a corner store. That per-item revenue covers our costs and pays for the equipment over time, so we do not need to charge your business anything to make the math work.

That said, the offer has a real qualification bar, and not every site clears it. We generally look for around 50 or more regular on-site users, a spot with reliable power and internet, and a willingness to commit to a 3-year exclusive placement agreement. If your site is well below that traffic level, or you cannot commit to the term, we will tell you plainly that it is not a fit right now rather than stringing you along.

What "free" actually means

Here is exactly what is covered, and what is not.

Covered by Flyby, at no cost to you

  • The machine itself — smart cooler, smart store, freezer, or ambient pantry
  • Delivery and professional installation
  • Initial and ongoing product stocking
  • Card, tap, and mobile payment processing
  • Cleaning, repairs, and equipment maintenance
  • A point of contact for issues or restock requests

Not covered, and not part of the deal

  • Free or subsidized product for users — they pay per item, same as any vending machine or micro market
  • Electrical or network work required to bring power or connectivity to the placement spot
  • Any commission or rebate to the business unless separately negotiated for high-traffic sites
  • Flexibility to end the agreement early without cause during the 3-year term

In short: free means free of hardware cost, free of stocking work, and free of service headaches for your business. It does not mean free product for whoever walks up to the machine, and it does not mean a short-term, no-commitment arrangement.

What your site provides

Four things, nothing more.

Space

A dedicated footprint of floor or wall space near where your people already gather — a breakroom, lobby, or common area.

Power

A standard electrical outlet within reach of the placement spot, sized appropriately for the equipment.

Network

WiFi or a wired connection so the machine can process payments and report inventory in real time.

Access

Reasonable access for our team to deliver, install, and return for scheduled restocking and service.

How the machine gets chosen

Matched to your traffic and your space, not picked at random.

During the site review, we look at how many people are on-site, how much room you actually have, and what kind of buying pattern the location suggests — a fast-moving office breakroom looks different from a 24-hour warehouse floor. A compact smart cooler might be the right call for 60 employees in a tight breakroom. A larger smart store or micro market setup might make more sense for a 300-person office floor or an apartment clubhouse. We do not force a one-size format on every site.

Timeline

From application to a stocked machine.

  • Day 1: You submit the placement request below with basic site details.
  • Within a few business days: We review your traffic, access, and site details, and follow up — usually by phone or email — with a qualification decision.
  • If you qualify: We schedule a site visit to confirm power, network, and placement footprint, and sign the 3-year placement agreement.
  • 2 to 4 weeks later: The machine is delivered, installed, stocked, and live.
If your site does not qualify

We will tell you honestly, and you can revisit it later.

Not every site clears the bar, and we would rather say so up front than install a machine that will underperform for everyone involved. Low foot traffic makes it hard to keep product fresh and hard for the equipment to pay for itself, and unreliable power or network access creates ongoing service problems. If your site is not a fit today — say your headcount is at 30 and growing — you are welcome to check back once your traffic picture changes. See pricing for what a paid arrangement can look like outside the no-cost model.

Frequently asked questions

Is a vending machine really free for my business?

For qualified sites, yes. Flyby owns and pays for the machine, installation, stocking, and service. The business pays nothing. Users pay per item when they buy something, and that per-item revenue is how Flyby covers its costs and makes a margin.

What does my business have to qualify for?

Roughly 50 or more regular on-site people (employees, residents, tenants, or members), reliable power and internet access at the placement spot, and a willingness to sign a 3-year exclusive placement agreement so Flyby can justify the equipment investment.

What if my location does not qualify?

We tell you honestly. Some sites are told no because traffic is too low or the agreement term does not work for them. If your numbers grow later, you are welcome to reapply.

What does the business need to provide?

A dedicated spot of floor or wall space, a standard power outlet, network access (WiFi or ethernet), and reasonable access for our team to deliver, install, and service the machine on a regular schedule.

How long does it take to get a machine installed?

After a qualifying site review, most installations happen within 2 to 4 weeks, depending on equipment availability and any site-specific electrical or network work needed.
